The talent behind the reputation
Design your interior to be timeless, sustainable, efficient and beautiful.
Peggy Hull approaches each project with an initial analysis applying 10 key elements of a well-designed space. These principles can be applied to any style from Contemporary to Country French depending on the clients’ taste. Step 2 is to develop a plan for the project keeping in mind both budget and time deadlines. With more than 28 years of experience in construction Peggy guides her clients thru the selection process working as a team with the builder and client. Auto CAD and space planning are important elements as well as organizing the specification forms to insure that the project runs as smooth as possible.
Peggy’s ability to communicate and listen to her clients comes from her background in education. She taught in Friendswood public schools for 6 years upon graduating from the University of Texas with a major in Elementary Education and from University of Houston with a Master’s Degree in Administration Education. She especially enjoys creating children’s rooms, and designing spaces that are adaptable for children and family needs. After building a custom home for her family, Peggy turned her passion for design into a business after her design education from Houston Community College. As a 3rd generation Houstonian Peggy has an appreciation for Historic Homes and is proud to have been involved with a number of projects in historic districts including a John Staub home.
A longtime member of ASID, Peggy has served as President and on the board for the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. Creative Touch Interiors has been awarded numerous ASID awards for projects as well as designing spaces in multiple Showhouses through the years for both ASID and other nonprofit charities. She currently serves on the board of Preservation Houston and Boulevard Oaks Civic Association.
Co-hosting Home Cents has been great fun to share the vendors and suppliers with the listeners. I appreciate Mike Landry giving me the opportunity as I have been able to network both ways by sharing some of my favorite suppliers to him and I have added a number of qualified vendors and trades to my list.
